*McCoy Tyner played with Coltrane for a number
of years before he went on his own. His style of
piano was very similar to that of Coltrane’s saxophone.
Being left handed, he played very strong bass and
with his right often used pentatonic scales for his solos.
He has been very influential throughout his career
inspiring many musicians.
